Might have bricked a Lenovo Y50-70
#1
Greetings. A while back BD was kind enough to help me flash the bios of a Y50-70.
Recently, im pretty sure i checked some options under the video area in the bios since i was having some issues with the switchable graphics.

After that, the laptop went into a reboot loop, the monitor would not light up and neither the one button recovery, nor any other recovery method ( that i researched ) seemed to work.

Here is the link of my original post

Can anything be done? Have i killed my laptop?

Thank you

The latest Discovery about Recover Bios after a Black Screen for Video Card :

The simplest solution worked!
For future reference, the trick was to find the right combo of keys:

F2 to boot into BIOS then F9 - ENTER - F10 - ENTER

1. F2 go to Bios
2. F9 follwed by + Enter Key
3. F10 follwed by + Enter Key

Let me know

I tried recovering my bios after a bad flashing (it gave me an error when I tried to restart it after it said that the operation was passed)
This is the second time I try to flash my bios using the fn+R method but this time it doesn't work. Although it has the same symptoms ( black screen, Keyboard lights on, fans spin slowly, it doesn't reboot itself) it doesn't beep when try the recovery method.
I've made a video showing how I did it. Please check it out.

Thanks in advance!!
