Modify [ASUS G51VX X3A] BIOS to allow more RAM

Hi there,
Im just wondering if it is possible to modify [ASUS G51VX X3A]'s BIOS to allow more than 4 GB of RAM?

According to http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/asus-g51...olBtm;rnav and the ASUS website, this laptop is "capped" at 4 GB of RAM. The chipset, however, can support up to 8 GB of RAM. according to the intel webiste

Any ideas? I want to make sure this is possible before I buy the expensive 4 gig RAM sticks.

I am still looking at this, but haven't found any easy way to override the 4GB lock.
