Hello ShawnSunshine,

I took a quick look at your BIOS image and found the following:

• Your BIOS file is very small and thus, does not have too many unlockable menus. It does have an unusually high amount of individual advanced settings for its size though. I will be adding some of these.
• The bulk of the settings added will not be too useful to you (IRQ, memory cache read/write statuses, etc.), but some of them will (graphics settings, etc.).

NOTE: The latest version of your BIOS is v68.05. I will be modding this version.

Hello ShawnSunshine,

Your BIOS mod is complete! The file can be found at the bottom of this post.

This was a very interesting BIOS to mod. I was amazed at the complexity of the settings available despite the BIOS only being half a megabyte in size. There were not too many menus, but I was able to add a good amount of individual items.

Generic Warnings/Disclaimers:
Quote:Please remember to take proper precautions when flashing your BIOS. Even if the image is safe, the flashing process can still fail. Make sure that (if applicable) your notebook is fully charged (100%), the power plug is properly connected, and that the chance of the power going out is as minimal as possible. Do not interrupt the flashing process. If possible, it is a good idea to have a working CRISIS recovery disk when messing with your BIOS. Use the flashing instructions for your particular computer brand. DO NOT DO ANYTHING UNNECESSARY!!!

I take absolutely NO responsibility for ANY damages that may occur to you, your computer, your personal belongings, your neighbor's cat, or any other personnel or equipment as a direct or indirect result/consequence of your, or any one else's, use or misuse of any of the files that are in this archive at the present or at any time in the past or the future. You assume full responsibility for any damages or inconveniences that may occur by choosing to flash, or otherwise use or misuse, this image or any of the other files within this archive.

Have fun! Smile

Please remember to post the results of your BIOS flash!

All I can say is wow! I was not expecting anyone would know how to help me. I also am quite amazed. So Im confused a bit, how come the version number of the bios is 68? Would not that mean its an earlier than 86? Or is the one bios I have not quite the right bios and thats why?

I will try this right away. Question again though. How do I post the results for you?

OOPS SORRY, this did not work, I tried to flash this and got a red message error:

"PART ID NOT FOUND IN TABLE OF SUPPORTED PARTS" it went halfway through till the message. I was using phlash16 (latest version for dos) flashed it in dos using freedos (usb flash drive made bootable by RUFUS)
