P5b AMI Bios Boot From FireWire Option

IS their anyway to get the Asus P5B Deluxe to Boot from an Firewire HDD ?

Just got an FireWire SSD Drive and Found out its not going to boot
(wanting it as an low power consumption OS Drive, USB bootup was [censored] slow )

nothing hidden to unlock in this BIOS so im not sure how you could possibly do this , could you tell us what the make/model of the drive is and i could possibly look into integrating a ROM into this BIOS to recognize and boot off the SSD?

There is no need for ROM (Option ROM) of drive itself.(drive is generic,and BIOS use it through INT13)
What is need ,if exist,is Option ROM for FireWiere PCI device.And that depends of manufacturer.
