Pegatron IPMSB-H61, new bios, bclk adjustment and other questions.
#1
Hello, this is my first post here, I'm not sure this is the right section, but it uses AMI bios and I also have a question about unlocking,

first of all, the bios setup have no mention for the bclk clock, but looking at the bios with BCP I found this entry interesting:

http://i50.tinypic.com/opv8ko.png

is there any possibility of unlocking a option (it's basically for a small overclocking, I know is REALLY limited, but I would still like to have the option)

and now something more interesting, I asked my motherboard support for an ivy bridge compatible bios and they sent me one, BUT when checking with BCP I noticed this bios is quite different, from the one I'm using, is there a way to check compatibility before flashing?

http://i46.tinypic.com/2e0rcw7.jpg
judging by the options the new bios looks like something made for z68.

now the source where I got the ivy bridge compatible bios is offline, but since this is a OEM board sold all over the world (even for HP),
I was able to find both files (I've checked, it's all the same apart from the edited name)

from this Indian brand
http://smartlink.co.in/SUPPORT

if anyone is willing to check just choose digilite, 1155 and DL-IPMSB-H61

the ivy bridge bios is on WITH IVY BRIDGE SUPPORT READY 10.4.12, an the bios I'm using is on Firmware...

also, it seems Digilite left some readme file made by Pegatron intact which reads:

Quote:= = = = = = = = = = = = MB BIOS Release Note = = = = = = = = = = = =

MRC Ver(IVB) : 1.2.0.0
MRC Ver(SNB) : 1.2.2.0

Initial BIOS:
01. Change logo.
02. Change BIOS Model Name: DL-IPMSB-H61 in setup menu.
03. Modify DMI information Type1 System Manufacturer to DIGILITE.
04. Modify DMI information Type1 System product name to DL-IPMSB-H61.

so it would seem is the right bios, but it's so vastly different, even the initial release date and all, that I'm worried it isn't, and since the bios chip is soldered I would like some opinions,,

many thanks in advance!
