Hello,
I have built a PC recently and am using the ASUS Maximus Z790 Hero Motherboard (BIOS version 2202). In the SMBIOS DMI I want to change only the system model and manufacturer. I thought flashing BIOS might reset this, but that was not the case. The previous owner set them to something odd and I want to revert it back to default/change it entirely. I assume this is a set of strings in SMBIOS that can be altered with the right set of tools, however I am not sure how to do so. If someone could help me out I would be very grateful and am willing to pay if necessary.
