Can you help me unlock my bios Now is version 1.24

And someone have been able to remove the whitelist on wificards?
I´ve tried a few intel wifi modules, and the keyboard stop working, and windows 7 gave me BSOD...

Hello, I want unlock advanced menu in my bios.

I can upgrade 1.22 to 1.29 only it's not UEFI bios
Acer homepage give me new update 2.18 for my bios but i can update this :"(

I think it's possible as I have done a lot of experiments on upgrade to UEFI.
So We can try !, I will prepare a bios mod for You, but You have to do a test to
check if your Eeprom is locked or not ì.
Download and execute as Aministrator this tool then upload result file here :

To upgarde your Bios laptop to UEFI v.2.18, You will use the Recovery Method :

You have to download this fil below then unpack it and You will find a folder with 3 files into.
Use USBImage.exe, It will clone the USB Image file USBimg32.ima on an real USB stick that You have
and It will be just Dos Formatted and contining Recovery Bios file.
So You don't nave to do nothing only clone Image on real USB, then Use the Recovery Method :

1 Shudown pc
2 Unplug Power cable
3 Connect USB stick in 2.0 version Port
4 Press and take FN+Esc Keys and not release
5 Plug Power cable and switch on button
6 When led and fan are going on release FN+Esc Keys

3 - 4 minutes write eeprom then reboot, that's all.

If there will be problem, Let me know.
For Programs : You have to disable your antivirus as these progs may be cause a
False Positive and Antivirus will delete as they starting.
I will wait your reply, then upload Menu Tabs screen shots to see what I have to Unlock, please.

Hi Friend,
Acer haven't WiFi or other Whitelist into, only limits present are on Card FW where manuufacturer can get it inside, the Menu Tabs are all Unlocked so 7Tabs with Power and Advanced unhidden.

Theseare the modifies :

0989 : 74 59 to 74 00 jz short loc_1800009E4 to jz $+2
0993 : 74 4F to 74 00 jz short loc_1800009E4 to jz $+2

If do You want learn as to do modifies, I can show the way !
Let me know, and post some screen shots to show Menu Tabs Unlocked and can see if there are some EFI code to unlock for more otions.
If You have problem to reflash, there is another way to do, so ask to me !
