Yeah that was me. I've run into people with similar cases on their gigabyte laptops. Since the error is caused because gigabyte releases same executables for different SKUs rolling back or even flashing the BIOS which isn't for my SKU doesn't change anything. I've read on forums I can mess with subsystem ids using ru efi but it's not working for me even after the unlock. Either way thanks for the unlock there was so much stuff I've missing out on.

Hi, apologies for the necrobump.

I also have an AORUS x7 DT V7. tl;dr it has a broken screen. I want to boot to an external monitor via HDMI, but there's not output. Does the custom BIOS have a way to force the laptop to use HDMI/MiniDisplay/Thunderbolt output and not the internal display?

1. I think bios modification can't solve this problem.

2. Maybe you could attempt below fast key to switch graphic signal between main monitor and external monitor.
