I want to regain undervolting because the laptop runs extremely hot without it.

If you mean that Throttlestop or XTU were unavailable when you updated to recently release bios ,you could try to downgrade to bios version that can still support Throttlestop ,then block Windows update to update bios automatically.

The thing is I can't find the bios that can support it anymore. It's only the ones that have it locked on the official ASUS site..

I was wondering if you could also unlock some hidden features in my GX531GM bios

Yes , i can unlock advance menus in this bios.
First make a bios dump with this tool then attach file. (Run dump.bat as administrator)

Your mod was done.

After advance menus unlocked ,please going to bios then disable "CFG Lock" and "Overclocking Lock" then save and exit. Then test if the Throttlestop is active.
Bios path is : Advanced => Power & Performance => CPU - Power Management Control => CPU Lock Configuration


*. Please remember don't directly tune Core Voltage Offset in the bios in an ASUS 8th or 9th gen laptops ,it mught cause the undervolt crash.
These bad experiences from many user's feedback.

2. After the menu unlocked , then go into new Advanced tab >> Power & Performance >> CPU - Power Management Control >> CPU Lock Configuration then disable "CFG Lock" and "Overclocking Lock" to activate ThrottleStop again.

Do you know that if you disable integrated graphic ,you will get a black screen on this laptop.
