Help me.. i want to install the module Gobi2000 in my EliteBook 8470p

This laptop has BIOS whitelists for both Mini PCIe slots!
It is not possible to:

• install any WLAN card into the WWAN slot
  
• install an “unknown” WLAN card into the WLAN slot
  

However, the Intel WLAN cards shipped by HP are not branded, so it should be possible to install “normal” Centrino Advanced-N 6205 or 6300 cards. (Confirmed PCI ID for 6205: [8086:0085] (rev 34), subsystem [8086:1311])
Atheros cards do seem to be checked against HP-specific subsystem IDs, this is not verified however. Note that the BIOS seems to be verified against a RSA signature on boot, so a removal of this whitelist is not likely possible.

The whitelist, as of BIOS rev F.04, reads: (note the “HP brand” indicator)

I know, it's quite an old BIOS version listed here but the devices whitelisted should not have changed. Maybe someone can get you the whitelist from the current BIOS version. See HERE for the source.

I have HP 8470p laptop with BIOS Version: F.62 Rev.A.
And want to install WWAN Sierra 7710 modem.
But when I installed it, had a message: "Wireless module not supported (703)".

Understood, I need mod BIOS.
Used Forum search but nothing to found about this model of the laptop.

Could it possible to unlock HP 8470p?
Maybe it was done before and this mod BIOS exists?)

Hello! I have tried to mod my bios on my own, but all my attempts have failed. I have tried to stick many different wlan and wwan cards in my computer and only the HP ones work. The full model name is hp elitebook 8470p. This computer is running linux so most tools don't work on it. You may ask any questions needed and I will try to answer to the best of my ability. Thanks in advance.

Hi there to everybody

I'm trying to boot an e-gpu setup on the forementioned laptop, but it hangs on boot with anauthorized hw detected and disables the wwan pcie port that has the e-gpu connected.
Is there a possibility to remove the whitelist on this quite old HP bios (2012) in link (F.31)
