Just for my own knowledge and sanity, why would replacing the UUID not work?  Is it that the flash utility isn't actually applying the changes maybe?  Or is there some additional check in the code besides just the whitelist?

I assume you're going to just jump over the whitelist check altogether.

And you said you would be able to apply the fix to a newer BIOS once you determine the fix, correct?

now there are two ways to get Bios Mod working :

1. Use a Bios not RSA Internal Checked and then over this flash all Others
2. Use the Tools (SPI PGM + Clip) and write directly into Eeprom Chip the mod

I have no idea how any of this works.  I was just trying to mod the bios myself using Donovan's guide (http://donovan6000.blogspot.com/2013/06/...lists.html), and it didn't seem to recognize the changes at all....so I guess that's the RSA check or something.

Have you had any luck modding that older version?
Or I can make another attempt, but don't really have any idea what I'm doing.
