Hi camiloml,

my HP Pavilion dv6-6b45ez with F.02 Bios works fine with the modified Bios (sp54846). I change the old Broadcomm with a Intel Centrino Advanced N6230 --> work perfect.
Thanks a lot!

Hi camiloml and Spirit, bout the Bios modd sp548456 that is on forum (F.02), how is the process to update?
In my computer the program start, says that my Bios version is F.02 and the program is Erasing and Writing a Bios F.02 too... then my computer reboot and start windows. Is it right or should enter in HP Bios Program when the computer reboot?

Sorry for my bad english.

my steps:
  1. create bios recovery stick (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-MU...-IMPORTANT)
  2. Flash BIOS (old Bios was F.02)
  3. Reboot
  4. Check devices (in windows devicemanager)
  5. Shutdown
  6. replace wlan device
  7. boot windows
  8. install new wlan drivers
  9. check wlan device

If you save any value in bios like boot order, reboot it's ok?
Some users with similar BIOS and mkljax in this thread report problems and need removed CMOS battery.
You don't have problems?

- My original HDD (with recovery partition) i'm remove on the first day and replace with SSD HD (w/o recovery partition).

This evening (CET) i want to test the boot order.

This evening (CET) i want to test the boot order.

I testing follow configs:

- change Boot orderin Bios save and reboot -->ok
- save Bios default setting --> black screen and flashing capslock key
- removed cmos battery --> windows starts with low resolution
- reboot set some bios settings --> black screen and flashing capslock key
- removed cmos battery --> windows starts with low resolution
- reboot --> windows starts with correct resolution

Edit:
The Bios is RSA signed --> thread

best practice for me:
  1. create bios recovery stick (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-MU...-IMPORTANT)
  2. set favorite configuration BIOS
  3. Flash BIOS
  4. Reboot
  5. Check devices (in windows devicemanager)
  6. Shutdown
  7. replace wlan device
  8. boot windows
  9. install new wlan drivers
  10. check wlan device
  11. keep one's hands off from Bios Settings Wink
