I honestly tried to do everything myself, unfortunately it did not work
in the IDA can not find the text SUBSYS 1483103C, no test "Wireless Module not supported", ID only identified "91472655-50E0-4D81-9AF6-239E6F431B8C"

Welcome.
I wanted to install a new wifi card in my HP Pavilion dv7-6b00 notebook. Unfortunately, my BIOS is blocking other WiFi cards.
Can you help me unblock the white list?

I'm  new on this blog and updated my old PC;s HD [SSD]and mem. and using a AC USB network donky.  Original bios , but looking to add a faster wifi card if possible with a bios change if needed.  I found a sp60717exe. that looks shady and appeared to not open correctly.. IS this a safe bios? Whats with he bios links do not seem to be around, gone or lost?

UPDATE: I bought a wifi 6 USB Antena by NINEPLUS and attached to the back/ side of screen with a 1 ft. 90 degree USB 3 Cable with velcro and doubled my wifi speed the same as my new wifi 6 HP laptop. This seems an easier fix than changing bios and trying abunch of cards. NEW on Amazon at around 30.00, check it out.

I hope this mod can helps someone that has this problem and can't get a modded working bios or brick their laptop on win. 10.
