[REQUEST] HP dv6-6c51ca whitelist removal

I am trying to use an Atheros dual band ar5bhb92 (ar9280) pci-e wifi card in my HP Pavilion laptop. However, upon replacement, the BIOS
reported the card was not supported. May I get some help to remove the whitelist for the card so I may turn my laptop into a Hackintosh? It would be great if advanced menu can be unlocked but not important.

Model: HP Pavilion dv6-6c51ca (Currently using F.19 BIOS)

BIOS version: F.1B (sp59755.exe) or F.1C (sp60655.exe)

In the BIOS list you post, version F.19 of this BIOS is not moddable.

Just wondering what Not moddable means since you had modded the BIOS already.

After I flashed the bios, all I got was black screen. Power button white led on. Wireless button amber led on and caps lock button blinking amber.

I then pulled out the battery, wait for a few minutes, put the battery back then press the power button. Only the power button white led on and the wireless button amber led on.

At the end, I used the recovery process from Donovan6000's blog to restore the stock bios, then everything boot up.

I searched around in the forum, and the mod only works with the new wifi card I specified in my first post.

Since I am still waiting for the new card in mail, I will come back and let you know if the mod works on my laptop.

Finally, I had received the Wifi card. I flashed the modded BIOS, had the laptop turned off, replaced the proper wifi card, then turned on the laptop. Only the power button, wifi button led on and the led light around the mouse pad were on. That's it. The laptop didn't boot up or even post. Did I do anything wrong?

This one works fine actually! Can boot up with the new wifi card and menu in BIOS unlocked as well.

BDMaster, based on the list you had in your post above, there is a modded BIOS F.12 as well. Is that rom also wifi unlocked and available as well?

Does the modded BIOS now allow all wifi cards to work?

Or just the ar5bhb92 mrgummy bought?

Unlock Menu Setup Tabs and all WiFi cards !
I tried to modify the F.12 too but is not moddable !
This cause the HP RSA Signed Internal Bioses started at the 2011 End so 11-12 months !
