Hello! I was able to make a backup copy of the BIOS firmware via a standard tool changing platform.ini file!
Other utilities can not find the BIOS...

I also have a B50-30 laptop.  I brought a AC Wifi card off ebay did not realize Lenovo lock the wifi selection in their BIOS.  I captured the BIOS using the  backup tools 12.  If someone can help to generate a whitelist removed version of the BIOS, much appreciated.

I've a Lenovo B50-30 80ES laptop. Its BIOS (9CCN35WW) can be downloaded from here. I want the WiFi whitelist to be removed, so I can replace the WiFi chip (04:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter [168c:0036] (rev 01)). Will there be a risk of bricking when I try to flash the modded BIOS? And how can I flash the modded BIOS? Thanks in advance.

Your bios is rewrite protected
Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only
