No luck. I downgraded to BIOS v26. Once into the Bios Setup I set ON the option BIOS Back Flash. Change boot to legacy for allowing boot from my MS-DOS pendrive with the modded bios v29. Enter flash.bat and error 28 again.
Must I try to flash with using the lid bug? In that case What are the instructions to follow?

*Sorry. Here are my results v26 file. Hope this time works the patch. Thanks for the help.

So, do v26 has something special to unlock the bios flash process? Let's see if with the new results v26 i attached above it works.

Yes It works !
You can Flash the version 29 Bios Mod over the version 26 just using the Sleep Bug !

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Let me know
Regards

Is there a special reason the file got removed? I'd like to have a bios for the laptop in question with the whitelist removed as well.

I guess it's because you can't use someone else's bios mod or you will "clone" his laptop. I am still waiting to get mine...
btw you can download the bios linked in post #2 and downgrade your one, it's a necessary step to unlock the eeprom.
