you should choose to flash the BIOS1.WPH file not the FVRECOVERY.FD .

try using another PHOENIX UEFI FLASH UTILITY or flash from dos .

I am a complete noob. I will search google, but please let me know if you find a different flash utility I should try.

how would i do it in dos mode?
