[REQUEST] - Lenovo ThinkPad T-420 unlocking / modding information

Hi,

I have a T-420 laptop and I'm thinking about buying a second one and also have a hot air station and raspberry pi and like things, fpga dev board etc. I would like any information and tools on modding, decompressing and extracting the bios on the t-420 laptop. Specifically how to get the vendor bios images to work in phoenix bios editor (which seems to be missing from the site presently.) and anything on the QM67 chipset and flashes on various systems. I'm specifically looking at learning how to modify this particular bios in this particular laptop and also fixing the remaining issues to make it FSF-RYF certified.

If you could point me in the right direction on how to extract and split the modules on this bios, as well as recompress it I would really appreciate it.

Additionally if there is any other related info anyone knows of about this laptop hardware/bios that would also be appreciated.
