Hello,

I'm new to the forum so excuse for any ignorance. I'm running a Lenovo Thinkpad T530 with Arch Linux on it. I bought a new Intel Dual Wireless-AC 7260.HMWWB.R. Upon booting after install I realized it was white listed. Has any one been able to update the firmware and remove the white list without using a HW programmer?

Your bios chip is rewrite protected
Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

I assume the application that is run to read from that chip is windows base. Whats the name of the application? I can probably pic up that spi-programmer, i believe I already have a SOIC8 clip, just need to find it.

If I grab these tools and pull the data from the chip, could I just submit the bin here and would someone be cable to take a look at it?

Hi. Can anyone help me please to remove whitelist from this bios dump?  I tried it myself with UEFITool, but I don't get it work.  I flashed several times, but no chance to get it work.

I want to install a Huawei LTE-Module (ME909s-120) and a new WLAN Card (633ANHWM - Intel 6300)
