Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 worked for me on my ThinkPad X220 also memory running 2x 8GB at 1866Mhz.

Is there anywhere else I can download this BIOS!? Trying to get my Intel Centro wireless card to work on my x220!

I am so thankful to you all!!! S..t, I have been surfing the internet for 10 hours already and no result. I have got X220 BIOS v1.26 and updated on 1.37 from
bgalakazam and patched from sovem. BIOS accepted my Ericsson 3G modem. Yesss! So thankful to you! And now have to look for the drivers (don't know where to find them but will find).

How do I flash the modded bios over the stock 1.39 in DOS?

Their "simple" tool checks BIOS version and tells flashing is not needed.
flash2.exe /u complains that files are not found.

I don't have Windows of any kind installed, sorry. Can't help it.

Hello there,

just wanted to bring to your attention the fact that no BIOSes posted to this (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-RE...AN-removal) topic worked in my case.

Per instruction, I first updated to the stock 1.39 BIOS; then, when trying the DOS utility again to flash the modified BIOS (I don't have Windows anywhere in my vicinity), I've got a message that no update was needed.

When trying FLASH2.EXE /u, I've got a message about "missing required (system) files, error 16 (242)".

When trying another archive with the BIOS image as a single 8M file and Phoenix BIOS flash utility, it told that the BIOS image is unauthorized.

Can someone please look at it and probably right a few wrongs with it?
