Excuse my ignorance, but I have no idea what that means.

Note. This tool not works under win10 shell.

ouch, so I would have to wipe Win10 and reinstall Win7?

You can boot form Win7 Live DVD and run this tool.
However, you need SPI PGM to reflash mod.

Great I can definitely create a Live disk.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about SPI GPM. Where can I read more about it so that I can educate myself on what's involved, how to use it and where it even plugs in. Sounds like I'm probably going to have to take apart the entire laptop huh to make this connection with this?

Is there a particular brand or retailer to buy this from? Google really not showing me much when I search for SPI GPM.

Here is tutorial

However lets know what are bios chips available in your laptop mainboard. After that you can contact any seller at ebay and ask him if programmer supports your bios chips.
Let me knowSmile

Hi, I want to remove the whitelist in my Lenovo Z410 bios. Using Falseclock method but with the modified grub shell from here https://geektimes.ru/post/258090/ (this version fix some bugs in falseclock's grub shell), I was able to flash a modified bios using fptw64.
But because I am not familiar with assembly language, I can't figure out which bytes to change. So I hope some genius can help me. Thanks in advance.

(because I don't know the subsystem id of my new card, I need to remove the whitelist completely but not just replace some id in the whitelist)

This is my bios dump (also available on Google Drive bios dump)

.bin   bios.bin (Size: 4.5 MB / Downloads: 5)
