My spare laptop , as with many Kaveri mobile chips ( I learned) is throttling like crazy even under 55 celcius , the CPU/APU will runs at 50% Base speed once under load . It will only boost when no or little load is applied . I read this is a common issue and due to TDP throttle by manufacturers . So I m wondering if this BIOS could be modded to allow the CPU to run at least at the Baseclock speed while under load . MFG BIOS files are within link below ( The Bios files are both generated from 32 and 64 bit updaters , so one cap file from each executable , though likely the same )

turn off power saving limiters,control fan speed and Overclock my RAM and CPU if possible.
I don't know what you should know about my Bios or laptop so just ask me or something.

I have a z50-75 I've recently done a bit of upgrading on. Installed a crucial SSD, 1tb, and a crucial 2x8 1600mhz ram kit to boost me to 16gb. My bios settings are throttling my ram at 800mhz. My gpu also runs very cool at 554. Am I wasting my time trying to unlock advanced options in my bios for the xmp profile? Feel like I wasted money upgrading the ram, as it is running half speed, and I've never witnessed my "gpu" going over 55 degrees celsius. Feel like there's room here, but may be chasing a dream making this unit run at peak performance, as many forums say the Radeon R7 is junky, but nobody around has unlocked one of these, and I have spent significant time looking.
