By the way when I try to dump the bios file with efi ifr dumper as you say (dragging the file to the application) I get the error "String package not found". What does that mean?

EFI IFR Dumper is designed to extract the IFR from individual modules, not the entire rom. You'll have to use a program like UEFITool by CodeRush to extract the module you want to extract the IFR from.

And EFI IFR Dumper is now deprecated. I recommend everyone use the recently released Universal IFR Extractor which supports every kind of IFR protocol

Lol either the compiler they were using messed up the IFR protcol of the programmer just didn't know what he was doing If you look at the combinational logic for IFR, it's stored in the modules like:

Suppress If:
Varstore 0x87 equals 0x1
Varstore 0x8B equals 0x2
And

But your bios had it:

Code:

Suppress If:
Varstore 0x87 equals 0x1
And
Varstore 0x8B equals 0x2

So the interpreter didn't even account for the other condition. That's why my previous mod didn't change anything because I changed that last condition to an EFI_IFR_FALSE_OP. Anyway, here's the correctly modded rom. Enjoy!

Hello again. I reloaded the module I corrected bios you posted but still the same, do not show the hidden options.

Another thing. When starting the program Universal Extractor IFR gives me an error of "Universal Extractor IFR: Not a valid Win32 application". I use winxp sp3. You know I could be. thanks

Lol people still use Windows XP It's compiled for more modern operating systems. I'll upload a version today that'll work work with all versions of Windows.
