Hi friend,
You can try this one :

http://rghost.net/57418341

Use InsydeFlash to write Bios Mod into Eeprom.
If It don't work use this tool to get your Eeprom Status, run It as Administrator and upload here the result file :

http://rghost.net/56932575

Let me know

Ok, I tried the first file however under admin privileges, InsydeFlash + 64 both open up and then close in the blink of an eye! I am guessing there is an error in the 'pruned' platform.ini file as the programs load up if you remove this file from the directory.

The second file comes up with a '7-ZIP unsupported' error on running... so I extracted it and ran InsydeFlashW + 64 - this time it loads up but complains that there is no ROM in the directory. So I put a copy of the rom file in EVERY directory and one in a ROM directory like the Sony version and one in a ROM directory one level up... yet it is still not happy! Confused

(ran GO.BAT as well, but it just opened up a couple of DOS windows, but produced no files)

Ran READ.bat and got a write_.error.log file, which states... Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Lastly I dragged the ROM over all versions of the exe and it rebooted to an error stating that is was an invalid flash file. Sad

Model: Sony VAIO Fit SVF14218SG
BIOS: R0230DA

I need a help with this BIOS. Is it possible to insert the model, serial number and service tag into this BIOS? My model, serial number and service tag are missing after I had my VAIO serviced. Unfortunately I cannot post the details regarding those information here due to privacy matters. If anybody don't mind helping me, I would gladly send all the details.

Thank you very much before.

BDMaster, I couldn't use both tools. BACKUP_Tools shown "was unexpected at this time" while Universal BIOS Backup shown "Error - Cannot Identify The BIOS". Is there any other way I could provide anything to you?

Edit: I don't know if this helps, but here's the download link for R0220DA, the previous Insyde BIOS for my VAIO SVF14218SG.

p.s. I attached the motherboard/BIOS part of Speccy, sorry if it doesn't help much

p.s.2 I just attached the BIOS used by the service center to flash the new motherboard.

p.s.3 I just need the model, serial number and service tag part written onto the BIOS before I flash my VAIO with it. I have all of those. Unfortunately they were not written onto the BIOS when the service center flashed the new motherboard with it.
