I buy the new Intel Centrino Advenced-N 6235 Wifi card and dont work.

If a put the Intel Wireless-N 2230 work perfectly but if I put the Advenced-N 6235 or Ultimate-N 6300 cant start (cant switch ON) the WIFI card and the Bluetooth
on Windows 8 or Ubuntu 12.10.

Please help me ,I wish upgrade the wifi modul

Hello,

I have the same issue with the Intel Advenced-N 6235 inside a Sony Vaio SVE1511C5E.
It says: radio off. Is this a whitelist issue?
Anyone a solution?

to find Whitelist we needs some informatsions :

Original PCI / VEN WiFi Card
New PCI /VEN WiFi Card
Error Generated by Bios at Boot state Error 1082 : Unauthorized Wireless . . . (E.G.)
and all descriptions You can give about !

P.S. There isn't anyhing about Sony Bios Whitelist so is unknown !!!

Ciao!! Happy New Year!!

I am complete amateur so i would like to understand something before I ask how to unlock my bios.
BIOS Version: R0220E5
ME Version: 8.0.4.1441

I have two goals:
1) Remove wifi whitelist
2) Increase 2TB Hard Drive Limit

1) I recently purchased an Intel 7260 AC wifi card (WIFI + Bluetooth) that wouldnt work unless I taped pin 20, and the bluetooth wont function unless I taped pin 51.
Is is true that removing the "whitelist" is the solution to making this wifi card fully compatible/function without tape?
And if true, is it the same procedure as shown here?: https://www.bios-mods.com/wiki/How_to_Re...nsyde_BIOS

* I haven't found where to obtain my bios.fd file on Sony
* I've downloaded Insyde BIOS editor & Winhex

2) Is it possible to remove the 2TB limit on the bootable drive?

My laptop directs my life so i cannot afford to "brick"/destroy it, could someone walk me through with clear instrutions please?
From the very beginning and in the safest way possible please.
It would be a a huge favour thank you.
