In case you didnt get my last pm, below is the BIOS update to my Sony Vaio laptop:

Again, I need to alter the code of the BIOS to stop the throttling or frame rate drop when I play games. This happens when the laptop reaches a temperarure of 80 C, which is too low. Please help me alter this code since its driving me crazy.

To answer your question from your last pm, yes, I updated the BIOS with the one from the link in this post. But if thats a problem, I can downgrade my BIOS or factory reset it to a previous BIOS version.

Hello all. I'm trying to update my sony vaio svf14n1e2es. Im trying to replace the hdd with adata ssd sp580 240gb.
When i put the ssd in the laptop the bios wont deteck it. The same ssd work on 2 other laptops no problem.
So i guees i need help to unlock my bios? 
Can some one help me to do it ?

I need some help. Forum member Dudu2002 helped me alot. He make a modified bios for my laptop but i cant flash it ,because my bios is write protected ,and i need a programer to do it.
But he send me some information about my bios. The attached file.
Can someone translate to me from that file ,what brand SSD i need to bay to work with my current bios ?

I am having a very annoying problem on my notebook and I believe it is the speedstep that is stopping processing at 0.78ghz, I have already made several changes to the power plan without success ..

Hi,

Please could you help me unclock my Laptop's bios. I have issues with my Laptop not going turbo at all.
I have resorted to use ThrottleStop to get it turbo speed.

The Laptop Model:

Sony Vaio SVF15N1B4E
Bios: InsydeH20
Bios Version: R1140DD, 18/09/2014

-Bios Version: R1140DD
-Bios Type : Insyde EFI
-CPU I5 4200U

I want to add nvme support to this laptop, and also modify the nvidia egpu vbios to increase maximum tdp, and increase the maximum OC limit to the same as nvidia 740m (the laptop uses 735m which is supposed to be the same chip).
Also if there are any other hidden settings that might be usefull to increase the performance that would be fantastic .
I also want to learn how to do this, I tried to learn myself but I cant seem to find enough information to get going, I managed to extract my bios using CH341A chip programmer, because I could not find a way to make a dump of the bios, sony uses some strange compressed exe that flashes the bios but the contexts are weird (I will also attach that, I had to extract the exe and then zip it to a .zip because I cant upload exe files here).

Any help is appreciated, if nothing else I hope someone can point me in the right direction how to learn this
