[REQUEST] Toshiba Satellite M100/M105 BIOS Unlock

Hi,

I have this old laptop bought from Canada: Toshiba Satellite M100 - PSMA0C-JG200E.
The IDE/SATA controller is ICH7-M and has the AHCI, but the BIOS has no possibility to choose between IDE and AHCI.
I need AHCI for SSD.
Attached is the latest ROM version from www.toshiba.ca support.

Is it any chance to add AHCI feature to the BIOS?

Hello!

I was hoping if its possible to enable AHCI, other menus, and a WiFi card whitelist as well if possible. The laptop was released around 2006. Thank you!

There is no bios setting to add which would enable AHCI.
A mod with disabled whitelist was already made by TTAV134. I reupload it by the following link: Toshiba Tecra A6-Satellite M100.zip. The only thing I added is virtualization setting under Main tab.
Bios can be flashed from DOS as well. I included image files for that.

Ah, this laptop really doesn't have it then sadly. Thank you for taking time to look into this request though. I'll try flashing your ROM later this day and give you an update.

AHCI mode can be implementes via ACPI DSDT mod. But users report the AHCI works in Linux, but not in Windows. It detects the controller, but not the drives.
