Hi! I need help.
When I try to replace my original wifi card to the new PCIe Mini Card, after turning on the power button I see only black screen.

I think that my laptop`s bios is locked.
My laptop is:
TOSHIBA Satellite P100-387 ( PSPA3E-0PS02TRU)
Phoenix BIOS VER. V4.80 DATED 11/12/09

hi everybody,
i bought a new wlan-card for my Toshiba P100-354 (PSPA6E), but due to the whitelist, its not working =(

Phoenix Bios 4.80
Old Card: Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
New Card: Intel WiFi Link 5100

Should i post a backup from my bios (v4.80)?

Can someone please remove the whitelist? I tried to use the Phoenix Bios Editor, but i´m not very familiar with it.

Can you please help me with Toshiba Satellite P100-240 Whitelist check removal so I can use new WLAN card?
Toshiba Phoenix BIOS 4.80


Official Bios file attached here too:

  BD13C43.WPH (Size: 1.02 MB / Downloads: 3)


Installed working Card: Intel 3945ABG PCI \ VEN_8086 & DEV_4222 & SUBSYS_10418086

New Card: Intel WiFi Link 5100 PCI \ VEN_8086 & DEV_4237 & SUBSYS_12118086


It does not work just by hex editing the IDs.

Can someone please remove the whitelist check?

Hello!

Would be glad if anyone could help me with my old laptop. Want to try to use an eGPU on it. Also if advanced settings could be unlocked, that would be very nice.
