[REQUEST] Unlock iGPU HD 4000 support in Flytech POS5000 (DS-5000-C69-F01, BIOS C69V
#1
Hello,

I'm looking for help unlocking full support for the Intel HD 4000 iGPU in my industrial POS motherboard. Orignally I had G540 CPU and when I switched it to an i7-3770S the system passes POST, but I'm getting 8 beep codes due to missing or non-functional video initialization (no onboard video signal via DisplayPort).

Hardware setup:
- Motherboard: Flytech POS5000 (model on PCB: DS-5000-C69-F01)
- Chipset: Intel Q67 Express
- Original BIOS version: AMI C69VVR10 (C69V-056) from 2013
- Processor: Intel Core i7-3770S (with HD Graphics 4000)
- No discrete GPU (headless system)

What I need:
- A modded BIOS with Intel HD 4000 VBIOS (version 2170 or known compatible)
- Or guidance on how to inject the correct VBIOS (raw or Option ROM) into my BIOS region

Notes:
- I extracted my original BIOS via CH341A (attached) and opened it in UEFITool
- I wanted to insert CPUID and VBIOS manually but couldn't find a clean one
- I can flash via CH341A and test any image

If you can help with a clean mod or point me to a VBIOS dump known to work with Q67 and i7-3770S, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for your time and support!

This motherboard is based on Q67 chipset that doesn't support CPUs with Ivy Bridge core.

Thank you for your reply.
The chipset is Q67, and although it originally supported only Sandy Bridge, it seems that it can fully work with Ivy Bridge CPUs (like i7-3770S) after BIOS update — which is the case here (BIOS Information Vendor: American Megatrends Inc. Version: C69VVR10(C69V-056), Release Date: 05/29/2013). I’ve already tested and POSTs seem fine — only the iGPU init fails (8 beeps).

If you could help me finding or send the VBIOS for Intel HD 4000, then I will try to add it (and also add the CPUID) to my BIOS and test

No support for Ivy Bridge.

You are wrong. Check beep codes for AMI Aptio 4.x
