Hi. I have the same problem, is it possible to get the modded BIOS install file from you DBMaster?

Thats my BIOS 1.22

and 

this Version i want 2.17

Hi, I'm new to these forums and I come here because:

My laptop: Acer S3-371
My bios version: 1.27
OS: Windows 10

I'd like to update BIOS to 2.17 because that could solve some audio DPC latency issues.
But alas. Insyde installation does no allow me to upgrade BIOS because of WIN 10, and gives an error:
"This BIOS is not for Your Laptop PC". Now, the Acer website Does Mention at the end of a long list that "Please update your BIOS before upgrading to WIN 10". I thought I had, I remember doing it while I was on WIN 8. But for some reason I was now on 1.27.

The Latency issue is important to me because I try to make music on my laptop.

I tried editing the registry value to fool my Windows version but that didn't help.

So, If this forum could help me, I would be eternally obliged.

Just found a simple way to upgrade 1.xx to 2.xx without any modding of bios.
It's possible to flash a dump of 2.xx bios with 1.xx flasher (just replace a ROM file with a dump and remove /ver parameter in bat file). Dump of v2.11 bios was found here https://vk.com/wall-86826631?offset=300&...6826631_10
After flashing completed you have to reboot, enter setup and switch boot mode to legacy to boot your OS again (or install new OS in UEFI mode/convert old one). Now you can use normal bios flasher to update 2.11 to 2.18.
