Hey im trying to upgrade the wifi-card on my laptop. I just found out about this removal of the whitelist and read up on this. I've done some hex editing but i dont think im up to this and also should be easier for people that already have done this.

I had the same issue as the OP on my DV6 2113sa (same update file sp47531.exe) and after doing a google search came across your post. I just thought I'd sign up to the forum to give you a big thankyou as your test file works great.. i've managed to install my replacement card.
