- BIOS $0A84000_mod_SLIC.ROM for Machine types: 0217 and 0250 with BIOS ID 84xxxxxx

ThinkPad Edge 13 and Edge E31_84uj07us_SLIC21_no_whitelist.zip

Upon opening the WinPhlash (32 or 64 bit), click "browse", choose the biosmod for your model, click "Advanced Settings" then check and uncheck the boxes so it looks like this:

[ ] Flash only if BIOS version is newer

it is usually better to change only one PCI ID instead of the whole white list to delete?

that's easier not better. The whitelist is not realy removed, the bios code is changed to allow using any WLAN/WWAN card.
