anyone have the whitelist mod for the hp cq62-a10sa ? Want to put 5ghz card in.

hi, \thanks for trying. The bios does not work, keeps trying to recover old bios but keeps failing. Trying to figure out how to force the origional bios back in untill a whitelist removal has been successfully built.

hmmm you normally need to delete the uefi aka hptools partition from the hd before flashing this mods. MAybe that's why it tries to recover bios, because the uefi partition is touching you eggs Smile

ok, thanks again, will delete it and try again later and let you know how it goes, got the uefi on usb also so i can recover from there if it fails.

hi, Did as you suggested and it works a treat. Tried every wireless card i have and they all work. Superb work and many thanks. Just need to get a new router now as my dir-855 has just blown up lol.
