With this modified F.25 BIOS, it also works with Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030 of HP OEM SPS:631954-001 0A. This adapter is unrecognized by the official F.25 BIOS.

I have replaced the original Ralink RT3090 with Wi-Fi 1030 on my TM2-2102TX and its WiFi + Bluetooth functions just work fine on Windows 7 x64. This adapter was bought from China at the following store:

Thank you so much, the whitelist removal works on my tm2-2150ca Smile now i'm able to use my intel 6200 wifi card instead of that crapy broadcom 4313. Yah no more max speed of 72Mbit/s
It apears to work very well and is stable, I have been using it now for for just over a day now.

Does your Intel WiFi card contains the SPS number? I am curious if the generic one can be actually used with this modified BIOS.

If your wireless AP is allowed to set the Channel width setting to 40 MHz instead of 20MHz or Automatic, please do it.

I forget if the Intel Certrino Win7 driver's default Channel width setting is 20 MHz or Automatic. Make sure it is set to Automatic in the WiFi device's [Properties] --> [Configure] --> [Advanced] --> Item [802.11n Channel width (2.4GHz)]

Then you should be able to get the 150 * (1 or 2) Mbps link-speed within the good signal range. (2 ~ 8m at my home)

I don't use winblows Smile, I run gentoo .... it's setup using latest kernel with firmware installed along with wpa_supplicant. Works great at 270mbits/s on my wrt-160n v1 flashed with dd-wrt.
as far as sps number not sure what that is but here is dmesg output
just read up what sps number is ans it's hp spare part number. This is not a hp part it's a wifi card I got a year or so ago it's a generic one.

Test and tell me Wink

Rock'n! Worked flawlessly on my tm2t-2100 with a new Intel Advanced-N 6235 Dual Band Bluetooth Retail off Amazon for $22 to replace the POS Ralink RT3090 that I've had for 3 years too long.

Thanks a ton for this. Beer money has already been sent to your donate link, enjoy!

I tried to do a diff on the 01486.fd files, original vs. what you provide, and there is more change than I would have expected. How do you work your magic? Hex edit, or do you de-compile and recompile somehow?
