Repairing Scammed Ali Express Mini PC Bios
#1
Hello All,
I would like to take a moment to thank everyone in advance for any and all help you can provide for this interesting situation.

Recently My Father(72yrs old) showed interest in owning a minipc. i spent some time researching and found a decent deal for a minipc with an I9-8950hk cpu , suffice it to say it was a scam. what i received instead was a n5095a cpu and a bootleg o/s that would tell you fake hw specs.
i was given a refund and allowed to keep the pc.

the pc looks exactly like a Inctel B10 Mini PC only with an n5095a cpu
( https://www.inctel.com.cn/product/b10-co...e-mini-pc/ )

the bottom has a sticker with the following number: M6-YK-50-250416-1T-123
the bios says american megatrends bios vendor. core version 5.19

all i am getting for Serialnumber is DEFAULT STRING

the bios version says ALASKA -1072009

the motherboard is stamped with the following:
M6_JSL_SODIMM_REV31 N5095_0+0 DX-20250109 I-24120601 0696

i have already deleted the fake os and installed a new os. but what i am trying to do is reflash the bios to something as close to original hw as possible. the problem is as this seems to be a custom motherboard that matches the layout of the inctel b10 only with an n5095a cpu i dont know where to begin.

there are many who seem to have been scammed this way and maybe if i manage to either get a new bios created or find the original bios version maybe i can get it out there to those that were stuck with this model mini pc and might want to salvage it.

i hope i have left enough information. if you need any more info please dont hesitate to ask as i have made this a project of mine.
my next step is to upload the current bios so that maybe seeing the current installed version someone can assist me in finding out the actual motherboard specs or hw info .

below is all sorts of info i have managed to gather so far :
