[Request] BIOS mod for Acer EG43M (P01-A2) to support Xeon E5450

Hello,

I have Acer EG43M with BIOS P01-A2. I installed Xeon E5450 with LGA771-to-775 adapter and socket mods, but BIOS does not detect CPU.

I need a BIOS mod based on P01-A2 with Xeon microcode.

Tried P01-A1 Xeon mod, but unsure about compatibility.

Please help with mod or instructions to insert microcode safely.

The motherboard is just beeping

Try to flash IdeaFix's mod

Thanks for your help. I tried flashing the modified BIOS using AFUDOS, but I get this error:

ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID

Is it safe to use /x to bypass this check (like: afudos P01-A2.rom /p /b /n /k /r /x)?

Just want to be sure before doing it.
