Hello 

After i hade success whit my EP43-DS3L and a Xeon E5450 i do want upgrade my EP45-UD3LR rev 1.0

But now i am Looking for a Microcode update 

i did try the Bios from Idea.Fix whitout success

The PC is running but missing some stuff like SSE4.2 and Vt-x and so on !

Yes, use jumper or remove battery for one minute.
Can you use the same HDD you used for EP43-DS3L?
Please show version of microcodes loading for E5450 with EP45-UD3LR?
P.S. S-spec for you cpu is SLBBM, not SLMMB.

I did install a new HDD whit windows 7 on this Motherboard

no sorry i cant i am running windows update pack its allmost done 170 from 226 updates

But i can tell that it is the same issue as whit the last board

CPUID is fine but no Patch ID

i will use the jumper after all updates are done

P.s. I am allso in Bios-mods Chat!

Yes i did it whit idea.fix bios but it seems not too work

Dont know why but i dont like the Slic thing hopefully all will work *cross fingers*

Patch ID has changed too the right one Rebooting and check in windows will update as soon i am donw whit checking all

Update 

U Saved the day again ! 
For your info i did not do the Sockel cut out i did work in notches in the Xeon CPU whit a Dremel so this CPU fits now in normal sockel 775
Do you know a good Guide to mod those Roms ?
I would like to mod the ROM this way
Celerons Microcode Out and Xeon Microcode in at least the Good ones 
and the Rest Stock Rom because i do Rep and Overclock a lot and i need the Motherboard to check Used CPUs as well
but for now I am HAPPY whit this Xeon
