{Request} HP Pavilion dv7-2270us F.46

Hi all!

I need unlocked all advanced menu for HP Pavilion dv7-2270us with current F.46 bios to install MAC OS X on this laptop

i try some F.44 for dv6-1222 but only have SATA to change and fan so noise.

I need all menu unlocked to install MAC OS X, i always have panic CPU with 10.6.x, 10.7.x , 10.8.x, 10.9.x ( i was success to install on PC and 10.6.8 on MSI Wind U100).

always like this with many flag on Chameleon bootloader

That kernel panic is not fixable via any known bios modifications. It's a pretty common one for consumer HP laptops. You can use my Lapic Kernel Patcher to patch the kernel to bypass it

After patch with your patcher (Mavericks 10.9.1), i was try with -v -f GraphicsEnabler=No (ATI) or -v -f cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=1 always kernal panic CPU 0 or CPU 1. I will try with ML 10.8.4 or 10.8.4.

I will going to osx86.net to have more support.

Are HPET always enabled with hidden menu?

Are you sure your getting the Local APIC kernel panic every time? It's impossible to get that error after patching your kernel since it removes all calls to that specific panic. And you should have been able to boot with cpus=1 even with an unmodified kernel.

Yes always with Local APIC Error, ESR: 64\n" @/source/xnu/xnu_1504.15.2/osfmk/1386/lapic.c:769. I was try cpus=1 with original mach_kernel and patched kernel.

Do you know someone have success with hp pavilion dv7-2xxx with OS X!!!. With three usb (10.9.1 build by me), 10.8.5 from olarila, 10.6.3 from olarila i success on my PC and MSI Wind U100 (10.6.3 and upgrade to 10.6.8, ended because Atom N270 only 32bit)

Thanks for donova6000 Lapic Kernel Patcher. After install and first boot (Mountain Lion 10.8.4) with -v -f -x cpus=1 busratio=10(or 20) USBBusFix=Yes then run Patcher now dv7-2270us can boot without -x cpus=1. Bios F.46 original from hp website, with F.44 mod or original CPU fan so noise and battery short life (1h). Now ATI 4650 can full screen 1366*768 but no qe/ci, wireless Broadcom BCM4315 can't run, other thing ok!
