[Request] HP TX2000/TX2114ca (SP39357.exe) whitelist removal
#1
Rainbow
Though my model is technically a TX2114CA, it takes the same BIOS as the generic TX2000: SP39357.exe.

This BIOS has been previously WL-fixed but none of the links work any longer.

The BIOS I seek is not listed on www.bios-mods.com/BIOS :(

A previous poster (TTAV134) provided this info along with his WL-removed version:
Quote:-Model : HP Pavilion tx2114ca (aka tx2000) laptop
-Bios Revision : F.08
-Bios Type : Phoenix
-Bios SLIC : HP
-Bios Link : ftp.ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp39001-39500/sp39357.exe
-SLIC: HP 2.1
-Tool: Phoenix Mod Tool 1.82
-Method: Dynamic
-BIOS file: 30E5F08_NWL_SLIC.WPH
-Modifier: TTAV134

I can confirm that above the BIOS link is correct and is working today.

The original WiFi card was, I think, this one:
--- PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&SUBSYS_1366103C&REV_03\4&29E2C51B&0&00E1
--- (a Broadcom 4321AG)

Thanks in advance for anyone who can assist me with getting my WiFi card working!

Hi guys!

Well, nobody got back about my request - boo hoo Sad

If anyone knows if I was missing any information in my request could you let me know? Or if there's anything I can do to encourage some help please share your idea.

Maybe I'm just SOL because this is such an old notebook?

Thanks again guys!
