EDIT: I don't think this motherboard has a socketed BIOS chip, so not sure how I'd use the hardware programmer.

OK. But for soldered chips you can use SOIC8 test clip.

Also I think these BIOSes are locked and don't have overclocking support.

I see. And I would need the hardware programmer (and the test clip) to update it to add support? Also noted - will look in another section for unlocking.
