[Request] eMachines D525 BIOS Unlock
#1
Brick
Hello everybody, for long time I  have been looking for information how to unlock the BIOS of my notebook, the eMachines D525, but without success ... Sad

However, I found some interesting information about your hardware and all of yours internal components, which theoretically if I had any in-depth knowledge of the structure of a BIOS, I probably could unlock it.

And that's why I'm asking for your help, always I thought it might with an unlocked BIOS I would take advantage of 100% of what your hardware can offer in terms of absolute performance, however, with her locked I have not found any means that would allow me change voltages, frequencies, multipliers, FSB, thermal control, and several other options that I believe should be made available to consumers as a way to avoid programmed obsolescence, the waste of resources and of course the fun be able to run a heavy game on a PC manufactured in 2009 Smile

Sorry for my bad English Confused

Original BIOS (new v1.19): https://www.dropbox.com/s/zzg9jwfhcdkbxi...9.WPH?dl=0
Notebook board (HM40-MV) schematic: https://www.dropbox.com/s/61g5b1gg8j5btg...V.pdf?dl=0 (the eMachine D725 have the same board of the D525, and the same all internal components)

Intel® Cantiga GL40 chipset datasheet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5fj2fqhfhw6fiu...0.pdf?dl=0
Intel® 82801IBM  I / O Controller datasheet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d329m84ph3jauk...M.pdf?dl=0

CPU DC / DC Control datasheet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gji5wxt7x0g1ai...a.pdf?dl=0

All files: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pd5ey55j8qek5...tfNza?dl=0

I hope that all these data are useful in some way

My actual hardware:
CPU: Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.2GHz (mPGA479M Socket)
RAM: 2x1GB DDR2, running at Bus 334MHz
Chipset: Intel GL40 rev. 09
Southbrigde: Intel 82801M (ICH9-M) rev. 03
BIOS: Phoenix v1.19 (15/10/2010)
