Open your desktop and look for the flash IC, is it soldered or socketed. Does your motherboard have a SPI Conector header?

Following to the PDF manual, the chip is soldered(EDITED: I was confusedBig Grin). I attached the photo of my motherboard.

Photo is not too clear when zoomed in but...

I think your bios chip is this one. (just guessing by the components around and position in MB).

Anyway i don't see any socketed IC there, all are soldered. Check the labeling of that IC i marked and we will know if it is "the one".

Following to the files from the link, ( http://bios-mods.com/resources/ )

I noticed that you inserted an AHCI Option ROM, but NOT for phoenix bioses.

Is that OK? I'm worriedSad

Well, as far as i know, an option rom is an option rom, it's got its header and then data then it must be good checksummed. Anyway if you don't feel comfortable with this, just give up. I think is the best choice.

Well, I opened the case and looked for SPI Connector, but I can't see it anywhere.

I'll contact samsung for 100% working bios recovery method and will try the ahci mod.

If samsung doesn't tell me, I will buy a new desktop(mine is too slow) and will try the ahci mod.

P.S. I want to use Linux, but Linux boots and operates too slowly when there is no IDE devices. Is it possible to disable it? (my motherboard has 3 sata ports and 1 ide ports, but both windows and linux never detects any additional IDE ControllerHuh The most strange thing is when I connect an IDE ODD to that port, it works perfectlyHuh)
