I patched AFUDOS to disable checksum control and to also update bootblock and now it works, I can change the mac address

To change the MAC address is not required to write the BIOS. You can use a bootable floppy with DMI236 with the command

Sorry to bring up an old thread...

I'm trying to flash a modded Asus BIOS which has updated CPU microcodes.

Can you post the patched Asus AFUDOS or tell me how to patch it?

I managed to flash the BIOS with AFUDOS 2.17. It didn't do the checksum check, and everything went OK.
