Could you mod it for X3370, please? Or how can I do it? Thanks! Smile

It's already modified for that CPUID 1067A - Rev A0B microcode

I can confirm it works like a charm with a X3370!

For DOS flash, I used the original DOS Flash BIOS utility from Lenovo's site.
Replaced the original $image5C.usf file with the modded one (from #2 post) and BOOM, SUCCESS!  Big Grin

See, I knew it would work for you Big Grin Thanks for dropping in your confirmation for others, I'd give you rep but it's still broken Sad

ATTENTION!!!

I don't know if its valid for all of the m58 series, but if you want to flash a M58 USFF (like a SFF but with external PSU) you should flash first with the newest, ORIGINAL ONE directly from Lenovo, only after that with the MODDED ONE!
It'll prompt you with a message that the BIOS is the same. Just smash Y and ready! (:

If sth go wrong, just burn a recovery disk. Lenovo is pretty awesome, you can't brick the bios... (:

Had no luck with the BIOS mod trying to use a Xeon 3363 (already moded to socket 775).
Tried updating from an older bios to the modded one, tried updating from the latest bios to the modded one, tried to boot with just one ram chip, no external graphics, no HDD etc.
Tried everything I could think of. Would anyone have a suggestion?
I'm not saying the bios mod doesn't work, I am well aware that these Lenovo mobo revisions vary a lot - some can boot up to 16gb of ram, some ony 8, some can go up to 12 max if a GPU is also used etc. But any idea here would be much appreciated Smile
