Support for Barton CPU for GA-7VRXP rev 2.0
#11
I still can't get the download link to work Sad But basically its a general patcher that will add all K7 CPU support but I'm not sure if it would find the errors you mentioned in the list.

I've been trying to get my patcher to take this file and do what its got to do, unfortunatly the AMIBCP software is not opening the image. I know that this BIOS has mods floating out there that were used with AMIBCP so its a question of finding the right version. In this case MMTOOL won't work, I need AMIBCP.

My ver. 3.37 can't open it neither. What versions of AMIBCP did you try so far?

well, I can open the BIOS file using ver. 7.51: http://www.lejabeach.com/ECS/AMIBCP75.zip

ok, so I tried about 10 different versions of AMIBCP last night and basically all DOS based utilities open up this file fine, and all Windows based do not.
You can use DOS-based ver. 7.5 or 7.6 to open it.

any luck?

Hmmmm I'm going to have to get a DOSBox to try this because the patcher normally uses a Windows OS. Hopefully I can get it to virtualize so things don't get messy.

I don't understand... you can run the DOS-based utility right from Windows. Just double click on one of the zipped files I attached in the previous posts.
