[Test] Asrock N68C-S UCC
#21
I think that this mod is out of my posibilities, have spent an entire hour looking to the cmos masks and all next to the IDE/RAID bit are taken, so no chance to select AHCI with the usual trick, sorry Sad

BIOS REPOSITORY.Please consider donating (me or forum) if you like my work.
Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.
Camilo.

Hey! In my BIOS, version "P 1.50" there is no option for ACHI for my harddrive. My friend told me that people on this forum got the skillz to mod diffrent BIOS. I would be so happy if someone would like to help me Smile There is a later version of my BIOS P 1.70, but it doesen't seems to work on my motherboard, no idé why...

So, what i mean is that I want someone to mod my BIOS version "P. 1.50" for my motherboard "ASRock N68C-S UCC" so i can set ACHI mode for my C drive.

Hi fellows,
Any one of that 54 downloaders of the mod:
<<n68csu.ahciv2.1.60.rar (Size: 595.61 KB / Downloads: 54)>>
did test the mod?
Did it work? Is this safe? In case of fail is it reversible?

TNX for answers and help.

Hey people,

i have a request Wink.

Could anybody, activate or factivate (maybe with RAID), the (not supported) AHCI mode for the AMI Bios from the ASROCK N68C-S UCC motherboard?

Or maybe give me some hints, what i can do, to improve my SSD (Samsung 840 120 gb) performance? And i mean, not to buy a SATA III Controller, cause i guess, any money spend in this system, is a bit... maybe its not worth Wink. However, i love the system. And before i buy something new, i would like to run this machine, as long as possible and as fast as possible Wink. I dont want to buy something new and put this in the garbage... i m not that throwing away and buy new guy.

So, i was looking for some hints in this forum about the N68C-S UCC and found nothing. (compare -> http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Te...N68C-S-UCC and http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Mo...N68C-S-UCC)

So, is there hope?

Best regards

PS: Some Information about my SSD performance is in the pdf.
My System : Win 7 64 bit. Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460. Kingston 4 gb (2 x 2gb). And this freaky N68C-S UCC Wink with bios 1.60

You don't need AHCI mod, because nForce630a already working in dual mode IDE+AHCI when you choose IDE in BIOS setup.
I just advice you to install msahci driver, because it works faster then default nvstor.
