I'm sorry for offtop, I used a unlocked bios for my AOD257 and it works correctly, but I want to ask if someone could unlock bios for Acer One 753 (v1.24) and give me in this topic? I will be grateful.

Hi folks

I just flashed used this and it worked great on my Windows 10 32 bit machine, no problems. Once it was make my USB the primary boot device and turn off hyper threading, I left everything else alone.

My computer was an upgrade from Win 7 32 bit. That means the partitions are MBR format and it bots in Legacy.

I planned on doing a clean install of Windows 10 from a USB. I used Rufus to make a USB that would boot in MBR Legacy mode. When I restarted the computer it found the USB right away, and said to press any key to boot from the USB. So I did press a key, and then the screen flashed and the system booted into my regular Windows install. I tried this three times with the same results.

Then I restored the original BIOS, tried again using the same USB stick, and it booted no problem and I was able to do the install.

I would like to have this installed, I would like to be able to disable hyper-threading if for no other reason than to extend battery life. But there must be some setting that is tweaked when the Advanced menus are available that has a different value in the un-modded BIOS, and I have no idea what that setting might be. Any ideas? I want to be able to easily boot from USB in case something goes wrong, and if I have to reflash my BIOS every time I want to boot from USB that is less than ideal...

I own AOD257 - 1cws with 1.15 and really really wish to unlock the BIOS... All I found was the xxxx.fd that i couldnt flash via USB (fat) and FN+ESC trick (simply nothing happens, but the crysis mode seems to work, yet unable to flash it).

Also CPU overclock would be awesome...
