[Unlocked] Alienware M14x - BIOS A05 - unlocking the hidden menus
#1
Since you guys already did such a great work on the A03 BIOS of the M14x I hope you can do the same with the latest version, A05.

I attached the original BIOS file from Dell, alternatively here's the Link to the complete package from Dell, including the InsydeFlash app etc.: http://support.dell.com/support/download...eid=470581

Edit: I don't have a M14x myself, but quite some people are looking for an unlocked A05 BIOS, so there will be enough people willing to test this, it only seems that some users are too lazy to post a request or too swamped with work...

Sorry, was very busy, didn't forget your work!! Ninjahunter @Tech|Inferno just confirmed the BIOS to work fine, he says it looks mostly the same as in the unlocked A03, but throttle and fan settings seem to be slightly lower.

I'll post some pics as soon as I have some.

Fantastic work, as always!!

I need to ask.... Does the BIOS mod allow us to change in between graphics cards? I know on the older M17x models, you had the option to turn off hybrid graphics mode, and also disable the on board Intel graphics, so only the dedicated nVidia graphics card was being used. If this mod allows this, then you guys certainly have saved me from returning my M14x...... I would look at the pictures, but I'm at work and can't view them, due to imageshack being blocked.
