[REQUEST] Acer Aspire 5742(G,Z) BIOS Unlock

no, i think i cannot do anything about that Just unlocked the option, if not working then maybe is not implemented the switching in the bios and is only in the setup form.

why this http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=2706 option isn't showed? i think that not all option are unlocked because i see only "Boot configuration" but perhaps i need "Video configuration" option. thanks

Download again the file, and look for that option in the Main menu. The last option of the Main menu.

ok i found the option but it doesn't save it, returns default option : (.

Hi,
i'm new here,and i hope anyone can help me.
I have a Acer-Aspire 5742G with a nVidia Geforce GT540M (2GB).
I would like to install Windows XP or my optimized Windows Vista.
But nVidia doesn't give Support for nVidia Optimus.
And my games runs to slow with Intel HD.

Now please can anyone unlock the new Bios from the Acer-Aspire 5742G?
I hope then is there a option to disable the Intel HD Graphic.

But there is no Video options in the new Bios,but now i can change some processor settings.
Is it even possible to disable optimus,or set the nVidia card as primary?
In the Forum i found some succesfully threads for disabling optimus on other notebooks.
