Unlocking Dell 435mt BIOS

Hello all,

Im from Ireland, and have been reading around this wonderful forum for the last few days.

. . . Is this possible?

Im looking to overclock my i7 920 which is currently in my dell 435mt running at 2.6ghz. Using SetFSB...I can overclock from 2.6 to 2.8ghz Max!! Not much of an improvment.

My Bios is so basic its almost useless! Do you guys have a way of unlocking it or even modding it in a way that Id be able to change the setting (voltage etc) so overclocking is much more successful.

Some Specs : BIOS type : AMI, Bios ver : 1.1.4, Motherboard : Dell 0R849J, Ver A03, O/S Windows 7 Ultimate, SLIC 2.1

Since this would prevent me needing a new motherboard, I can donate for your effords.
